Farewell! Taiwan SEA Publishing & PR

It has been a great journey.

We laid our first footprint in Taiwan in 2003 under Vivendi Games and then established our very own Blizzard entity in Taiwan in 2008. Taiwan Office started out as a tiny team of five in a cozy office, where we launched the Office's first title - StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty for regions of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. Years later, we moved to a bigger office, expanded the team to cover SEA territories.

Aside from Irvine and Versailles, Taiwan is also home to one of the three Blizzard hero statues – Arthas. The Lich King was erected in a beautiful public park in Taichung, Taiwan, to celebrate Blizzard's 25th anniversary. We also launched the first Blizzard Arena in Taipei in 2017. We hosted Overwatch World Cup – Group Stage in Bangkok, the first esports event Blizzard has ever run in Thailand. Hearthstone World Championship was hosted in Taipei with the state-of-the-art stage design in April, 2019. These were a few of the many firsts/milestones we have accomplished as a team, a family, and more.

All of the achievements cannot be done without your support and we would like to extend our deepest appreciation for all the help, comradery and friendship you have provided to us over these joyful years. And it's time to close the curtain for TW/SEA Publishing and PR team.

Thank you, Blizzard. It has been an honor and privilege to work with all of you.

– TW/SEA P&PR, signing off.
